Hospitia uses guided video walkthroughs as the primary inspection record, with focused photos where useful. Each confirmed flag stays connected to its frame, timestamp, area, and standard citation.
Use video for the walkthrough
Follow the guided sequence for the area and pan slowly across the required views. Video preserves context and gives Hospitia Vision Ai multiple frames to analyze rather than relying on a single chosen angle.
Use photos selectively
Take a focused photo when a still image provides useful detail, supports a close comparison, or documents completed work. Photos complement the walkthrough; they do not replace the area-level video record.
Preserve traceability into the PIP
Hospitia keeps the property, area, timestamp, source frame, standard citation, and reviewer decision connected. Confirmed findings can then move into a phased, costed PIP without rebuilding the inspection from disconnected media and notes.
Treat all inspection media as sensitive
Walkthrough footage and photos can include guests, staff, room details, and back-of-house operations. Avoid capturing people or personal information when it is not needed, and apply appropriate access and retention controls.
